CEO and Chairman of Max and HBO, Casey Bloys, has discussed the possibility of The White Lotus Season 4. Bloys is optimistic about the development of the fourth season. The acclaimed black comedy anthology series revolves around the employees and guests of the titular resort chain. Every new season gives us a new group of characters. Season 3 (currently in production) will feature an entirely new cast, consisting of talents like Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Christian Friedel, Walton Goggins, Scott Glenn, Jason Issacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Charlotte Le Bon, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, and more. Among these new talents, the new season will also have Natasha Rothwell, who played Belinda Lindsey in Season 1.
In his recent interview with Variety, Casey Bloys remained hopeful about the possibility of The White Lotus Season 4, thanks to the show’s global success. The HBO boss also disclosed that Mike White (showrunner) had plenty of ideas for future seasons. This is what Bloys said:
“I know Mike has a lot of ideas for where it could go. We’re lucky to be in business with him. And we have actors who now really, really want to be on the show because it’s a great opportunity and it’s great writing. So I think as long as he wants to do it, we’ll go along for the ride. He’s really built a very interesting model to go from different parts of the world and have a rotating cast.”
Given the show’s format and success, we should expect more seasons from White and his team in the future. Every new season of The White Lotus comes with new characters and locations, accompanied with unique storylines. It will not be surprising if HBO renews the anthology series for Season 4 right after Season 3 airs. The show has scratched only the surface of the locations and themes it can explore.
Indian viewers can stream all seasons of The White Lotus on JioCinema. Stay tuned for more updates.
