The Witcher season 2 is going to be available for streaming soon. This popular monster hunt show was initially released in 2019. After the release of the first season, it received a positive response. We as an audience were expecting the second season to release anytime soon.
But finally, after 2 years, the second season of the show has finally arrived. Thankfully we got to see a spin-off anime series on the same. The Witcher: Nightmare Of The Wolf was released in August this year.
Just like a majority of fantasy series, this one is also based on a book series. Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski created this highly popular series that sold over 15 million copies worldwide.
In his fantastical world, a landmass called The Continent is the set of all the witchers. It revolves around Geralt Of Rivia and Princess Ciri.
The first season had 8 episodes in total but it has still not started the main saga. As the first season is based on The Last Wish and Sword Of Destiny that were short story collections that precede the main saga.
The second season however is expected to get on the main track of the story. But even before the release of the second season, Netflix has already announced the 3rd season.
But in a statement, the creator of the show Lauren Schmidt Hissrich has clarified that the third season is in a very initial stage. Hence it is far away from being available for streaming.
But if you have already watched the first season, you can stream the second one from 17th December onwards only on Netflix.
