Geralt of Rivia from Netflix’s The Witcher series sports a new look and a new actor these days – Liam Hemsworth. Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we now have the first official look at Hemsworth’s Geralt from the hit Netflix adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel series.

Season 4 is currently in production in the United Kingdom. Its story is being kept under wraps. However, the upcoming season is expected to adapt Sapkowski’s novel Baptism of Fire, as per some online reports. Geralt’s romance with Yennefer will play a major role in the fourth season. In addition, Season 4 may not follow the novels in the case of Yennefer. So, we don’t know what will happen to her.
Season 4 will likely see Vilgefortz keep searching for Yennefer. Geralt, wanting revenge for his defeat in the last season, will likely hunt for Vilgefortz as well.
According to EW, the forthcoming season will focus more on Ciri instead of Geralt. “One of the more important things about Ciri is that we will slowly discover that she is the main character of the Witcher saga,” executive producer Tomek Baginski said in his recent interview with EW. “Not Geralt, not Yennefer. It’s Ciri’s story.”
Apart from Liam Hemsworth, The Witcher Season 4 will feature plenty of newcomers, such as Laurence Fishburne (Regis), Sharlto Copley (Leo Bonhart), James Purefoy (Skellen), and Danny Woodburn (Dwarf Zoltan). Stay tuned for more updates.
