The Marvels is definitely one of the most ambitious projects of the MCU right now and fans are excited for its release. The Marvels is a web sequel to the 2019 movie Captain Marvel. These actors will be returning to the series playing their respective roles and here is an analysis of what their roles may bring to the show.
Brie Larson will be returning to play Carol Denver or Captain Marvel. There has been established a connection between her and Ms Marvel’s powers by the end credit scene of Captain Marvel and now The Marvels. Carol is the cosmic hero who is suitable to fight against the strong villain of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. She is being established as the new face of the MCU before gett8ng into the big fight.
Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani will be reprising their roles as Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan. As a connection between their powers have already been made with Captain Marvel herself. The two heroes will play an important role in the future of the MCU. Samuel L. Jackson will return as Colonel Nick Fury and it shows that the SHIELD chief will survive the show ‘Secret Invasion’. Zawe Ashton is about to make her debut in the MCU as the main villain in The Marvels. She will be playing Dar-Benn who might be responsible for the entanglement of the powers of the Marvels.
Korean actor Park Seo-joon too will be making his MCU debut with this show and his character is not yet known but it will be a very important one. Zenobia Shroff will be back as Kamala’s mother and Daniel Ings will be there too. It is possible that he plays some character from the Kree empire as he supports Zawe Ashton’s Dar-Benn. Mohan Kapur and Saagar Shaikh will be reprising their roles as Yusuf Khan and Aamir Khan who will somehow be providing help for the main mission.
There are rumors that Tessa Thompson too may be seen as The Valkyrie in The Marvels. Some fans have noticed that there is ample chance for her return in the sequel. Apart from the Valkyrie, fans think that Maria Rambeau too can return in The Marvels and though everybody thinks she is actually dead, the character can return through flashbacks or so.
