These John Wick 4 Actors Deserve Their Own Movies

Chad Stahelski’s John Wick: Chapter 4 is soaring high at the box office. There is no one to stop Baba Yaga, as the latest Keanu Reeves starrer has collected more than $152 million globally in its first week.

Wick has encountered several lethal baddies in the past and killed them all. His hatred for the High Table helped him get past all of his rivals. After all, a man can go to any lengths to regain his freedom.

The latest JW instalment proves that two characters deserve their own movies in Lionsgate’s action franchise. Caine (Donnie Yen) and Mr Nobody (Shamier Anderson) are those characters. The former is a friend-turned-rival-turned-friend of The Boogeyman. And the second one is a bounty hunter who goes to all lengths to get the bounty placed on Wick.

Caine is a blind and retired hitman hired by Marquis Vincent De Gramont, one of the senior members at the High Table, to finish off John once and for all. He has no alternative but to accept the offer as De Gramont threatens to kill his daughter as part of the pact he made with the High Table long ago. On the other hand, we have Mr Nobody, who sniffed out John Wick’s hiding place in the fourth film, with the help of his dog, of course, when De Gramont failed. Additionally, he showcased his smooth and amazing fighting skills in the latest JW flick. Both characters are highly intriguing and deserve their own projects in the franchise, especially Caine. He was the one who turned out even better than John.

Plus, Chapter 4’s post-credits scene shows Koji’s vengeful daughter, Akira, approaching Caine before he meets his daughter in Paris. She wants to take revenge for her father’s death by killing Caine. But she does not know what exactly happened between him and her father. Why was Koji angry at Caine in the film? How did the trio (Caine, Koji, and John) meet and become friends? Lionsgate and Stahelski have an amazing opportunity to answer all these questions and expand the John Wick franchise in many ways.

The franchise is on its way to getting expanded with The Continental series, starring Mel Gibson, and Ana de Armas’ Ballerina, set between the events of Chapters 3 and 4. John Wick 4 is currently running in theatres. Stay tuned for more updates.
