This Hollywood Film By ‘The Lunchbox’ Helmer Is A Must-Watch on OTT

By Binged Bureau - Jan 28, 2023 @ 02:01 pm

In case you are a serious Indian movie buff, chances are high that you must have already seen the terrific romantic drama movie ‘The Lunchbox’ starring Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in the lead roles. The film was directed by Ritesh Batra.

But do you know that the same Indian filmmaker Ritesh Batra has also directed a critically acclaimed Hollywood movie starring veteran Oscar winning actors Robert Redford and Jane Fonda? If we’ve got your attention, then you should continue reading because this particular film is our weekend binge-watch recommendation this time. And the film’s name is ‘Our Souls at Night’, which was produced and distributed by OTT giant Netflix.

Based on Kent Haruf’s novel of the same name, ‘Our Souls at Night’ follows the story of a widow Addie (played by Jane Fonda) and a widower Louis (played by Robert Redford). They live in a small town of Colorado and they have been neighbours for a long time but still hardly know each other. But the situation changes, and they form a unique connection after Addie makes an attempt to spend some time with her neighbour.

On the reviews front, ‘Our Souls at Night’ garnered an impressive 89% critics score and is ‘Certified Fresh’ on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. The highly watchable and endearing movie is currently streaming in India on the Netflix OTT platform.

In case you’re still unable to make up your mind about whether to spend your time watching ‘Our Souls at Night’ on Netflix or not, you can first watch the film’s trailer below to get a better idea. Happy Bingeing!
