‘The Exorcist’ series is inspired from and is a sequel to William Friedkin’s cult 1973 horror film of the same name. The well-crafted show features Ben Daniels and Alfonso Herrera as two dramatically different exorcists named Father Marcus and Father Tomas, respectively.
‘The Exorcist’ Season-1 follows the two exorcists and their investigation into a case of demonic possession at the house of a woman named Angela Rance. As the demon begins to take control over Angela’s family members, the two priests must race against time and exorcise the demon.
On the other hand, in ‘The Exorcist’ Season-2, the two priests Marcus and Tomas must deal with a new case at a foster home managed by Andy (played by John Cho). The duo must confront the demon and save the foster home while also trying to save Andy’s life.
‘The Exorcist’ Season-1 currently holds a 79% critics score and is ‘Certified Fresh’ on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes. While ‘The Exorcist’ Season-2 has got an even better critics score of 100% on the same website.
