Based on Hugh Howey’s Wool books series, ‘Silo’ is a sci-fi series which is set in a dystopian world where thousands of people live in a giant, underground silo and are bound by strict rules and regulations. After a vital rule is broken by a sheriff which leads to mysterious deaths of the silo’s residents, engineer Juliette Nichols (played by Rebecca Ferguson) must unearth the shocking truth about the silo.
As far as critical and audience feedback of the Apple TV Plus series ‘Silo’ is concerned, the show has received a highly impressive 87% critics’ score and is certified fresh on reviews aggregation portal Rotten Tomatoes with an equally good audience score of 87%. Moreover, on IMDb, ‘Silo’ has garnered a fantastic user rating of 8.2/10. And if that’s not enough, ‘Silo’ has received a metascore of 75 on another reviews’ aggregation website Metacritic which indicates ‘generally favorable reviews’.
