Much talked about British show ‘Inside Man’ has been streaming on Netflix for its subscribers globally. The BBC show has been created by well-known filmmaker, Steven Moffat, the brain behind the wildly popular BBC show, ‘Sherlock’, and the long-running ‘Dr Who’. The four-episode ‘Inside Man’ premiered on BBC One in the UK on September 26, 2022. It was one of the most watched shows on the channel. Its ending, especially, came in for a lot of discussion and debate, with viewers pondering on the significance of it.

The show is one of the most watched titles on Netflix ever since it began streaming. The gripping drama thriller, with an ambiguous end and a grisly murder at the centre of it all, has held viewers in its thrall. It even has a post-credit scene to confuse viewers even more.

Stanley Tucci plays Jefferson Grieff, a prisoner awaiting execution in the USA, for the grisly murder and dismemberment of his wife. Grieff has an uncanny ability to discern seemingly invisible clues, which he uses from behind bars to solve the mystery behind unsolvable murders. For his crime detection skills, he’s known as the Death Row Detective.
David Tennant plays Harry Watling, a vicar who lives a quiet life in England, much in contrast to Grieff’s edgy existence. But is he really as mild-mannered and affable as it seems. Or is there something dark lurking beneath the good-humoured exterior?
‘Inside Man’ abounds in dark humour, crackling dialogue and stunning twists. Over four hour-long episodes, the series keeps us hooked, wanting to know more. Surprisingly, the reviews—both audiences’ and critics’—for ‘Inside Man’ are not all that great. But the show is gripping indeed – take our word for it.
