ALTBalaji and PayPoint India have entered into a contract to provide offline subscription payment options and digital aid to users who are primarily located in rural and semi-rural markets.
This partnership will help ALTBalaji gain more subscribers for their platform due to the widespread reach of Pay Point India across India. This association will smoothen the process of activation, payment and renewals for the users through the convenience of their homes.
PayPoint which is an offline-to-online company, will collect revenue on behalf of ALTBalaji and in turn let users enjoy the exclusive and original content offered by the streaming platform. In turn ALTBalaji will be able to speed up its viewership by taking the platform to the deepest corners of the country. Since it is compatible with various interfaces it will have a larger reach and an easy to use approach.
The streaming platform has been steadily growing as India’s no. 1 regional entertainment provider in the digital space. In a recent data report it was reported that it has garnered a 60% increase in subscriptions as well as 21% rise in monthly active users. The regional market is booming and this partnership with PayPoint India couldn’t have come at a better time for the company.
It provides fresh content ranging across several genres such as romance, drama, thriller, horror and comedy among others. These shows have found a strong and loyal fan base among viewers from tier 2 and tier 3 markets and made it a platform to look out for.
The partnership with PayPoint is testament to the fact that they want to grow rapidly in the next few years and take full advantage of India’s diverse regional market.
