Atlee’s action thriller movie ‘Jawan’ starring Shah Rukh in a double role has been on a box office rampage since its theatrical release last week. The film has already grossed over a whopping Rs. 660 crores at the box office globally and has become the third highest grossing Indian movie of 2023 so far.
Interestingly, an OTT platform in India is offering free movie tickets for ‘Jawan’. Yes, you read that right. Because the Indian arm of the OTT platform Mubi has just revealed on its social media platform that its subscribers can claim a free ticket for ‘Jawan’, and they can watch it at their nearest PVR movie theatre.

This is one nice and useful add-on feature which Mubi is providing to its subscribers. The streaming service had collaborated with the biggest Indian multiplex chain PVR. Through this partnership, Mubi Go subscribers can claim one free movie ticket every week to see the newest ‘Film of the Week’ selection as displayed in the Mubi Go app subject to certain terms and conditions. As of now, the ‘Film of the Week’ is none other than SRK’s blockbuster ‘Jawan’.
In case you are a diehard movie buff and regularly watch films in theatres, then it’s not a bad idea to subscribe to Mubi Go. If you watch at least two movies per month in theatres with an average ticket price of Rs.150/- per film, it will cost you Rs.3600/- per year. That’s the exact yearly subscription cost of Mubi Go (Rs,3599/- per year), but additionally you will get Mubi OTT platform benefits as well.
Coming back to ‘Jawan’, the movie’s basic plot follows a man who wants to rectify the wrongs in the society and forms a team of fearless women who were victims of the system. On his trail is a relentless cop who wants to catch him at any cost. While dealing with a merciless arms dealer, the vigilante gets help from an unlikely ally.
