This Popular MCU Character Gets His Own TV Series!

Recently we have seen Disney going often in the television series route and they have ordered some of the most awaited Marvel Cinematic Universe characters to get their own Television Series. With WandaVision scheduled to come later this year on Disney+, Marvel is looking to keep working on their plan for mini series as their theatre scheduled releases like Black Widow are getting postponed.

Now a big report has arrived which suggests that Marvel’s Top Character Nick Fury will get his own Television series which will be arriving on Disney+. Samuel L Jackson who played the role of Nick Fury in several of MCU movies will reprise his role in it. Jackson first donned the role in the 2008 Iron Man and made several appearances in the other marvel movies throughout the years mostly in the post credits scenes.

While the show is in it’s earlier stages of talking, Disney has hired the acclaimed series Mr. Robot’s writer and executive producer Kyle Bradstreet to write for the show and to be an executive producer as well. The show might still take some time to go into production seeing the upcoming line ups for Disney and Marvel. With WandaVision coming this year Disney has already been working on Loki which will premiere in 2021, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which was set to arrive this year but due to incomplete shooting because of restrictions has been shifted to 2021. Another shows which include for the streaming platform are SheHulk, Moon Knight, Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel.

Samuel L Jackson has played the character of Nick Fury on TV previously for ABC series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. This time it would be interesting to see that how the story will turn out and in which timeline the series is set. Not much about the show is known so far but in the coming months more information will be out in the public.
The show most probably will take off in mid 2021.
