We are talking about ‘Reacher’ on Amazon Prime Video. Developed by Nick Santora, the Amazon original show is based on the ‘Jack Reacher’ book series by Lee Child. The first season out on the platform is inspired from Child’s 1997 debut novel Killing Floor.
‘Reacher’ follows a self proclaimed hobo and former military policeman with formidable abilities. He has recently entered civilian life but soon enough he is falsely accused of murder. The show stars Alan Ritchson in the titular role alongside Malcolm Goodwin, Willa Fitzgerald, Chris Webster, Bruce McGill and Maria Sten among others.
The show is a brilliant adaptation of the novel with a super engaging plot line and almost perfect action sequences. The casting is great and the actors justify their roles very well. ‘Reacher’s first season success was such that Amazon has already renewed the show for a second season that will be based on Lee’s novel Bad Luck And Trouble and will premiere soon on Amazon Prime Video.
