This Revamped Platform Is Leaving No Stone Unturned in Supporting the Controversial Movement

The famous crime thriller series ‘Lincoln rhyme : Hunt for the Bone Collector’ is based on a novel, The Bone Collector by Jeffrey Reaver. The story follows a retired NYPD detective and forensic criminologist who was excellent at his game until he was made wheelchair bound by falling into a trap set by the infamous serial-killer aka ‘the bone collector’, who once terrified the New York City but had surprisingly disappeared.

Recent murders indicate to his return and this was enough to bring our retired detective back in the game. This time Rhyme teams up with a young NYPD detective Amelia Sachs who seeked his help to solve the triple interlinked murder case. Sachs is an intuitive young officer who’s got her own gift for profiling. The series revolves around the cat and mouse game between the serial-killer psychopath and the improbable detective duo. But how do you catch a killer who always seems to be one step ahead?

Russell Hornsby plays the role of Lincoln Rhyme in the series, while Amelia Sachs is played by Arielle Kebbel. While in the book, Rhyme was originally a white man the series adaptation has a black man portraying the role.

SonyLIV has revamped itself and is coming with all new content to make its impact in the digital entertainment industry. Their focus seems to be strong in representing the Black Community, earlier with ‘FOR LIFE’ and now ‘LINCOLN RHYME : HUNT FOR THE BONE COLLECTOR‘, keeping in mind the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement.
