If you’re looking for something new to watch this week, there’s a little bit of everything dropping across streaming platforms. Fast cars, family drama, hospitals, mysteries, reality games, and even a hunt for eternal youth. But we can’t deny that there is again a scarcity of Indian content. There is no big Indian series and looks like we have to be patient again.
First up is Motorheads, streaming on Prime Video from May 20. It’s about a small town called Ironwood, where street racing is more than just a hobby, it’s a way of life. Logan, a former NASCAR mechanic, is trying to leave his troubled past behind when his niece and nephew move in. But things get complicated fast as they all get pulled into the underground racing world. There are secrets, speed, and lots of heart. Think of it like Fast & Furious but with more emotion and a small-town twist.
Then on May 22, HeartBeat returns with its second season on JioHotstar. Reena, who was once a nervous intern, is now a full-time doctor dealing with big responsibilities at a busy hospital. She has to manage new trainees, tough patients, and a whole lot of personal drama, especially with Arjun, who’s now her boss, and her estranged mother, who also works at the same hospital. It’s a mix of medicine and messy relationships, with plenty of twists.
Also on May 22, Prime Video brings back Nine Perfect Strangers for another round. This time, the setting shifts to the snowy Austrian Alps. Masha, the mysterious wellness guru played by Nicole Kidman, is back to help a new group of people face their inner demons. With a fresh cast and even more intense therapy sessions, some involving psychedelics. It promises to be as deep and strange as the first season.
For something a bit more fun, tune into Find the Farzi on JioHotstar starting May 23. It’s a reality game show hosted by the lively RJ Karishma, where five people are stuck in a room, but one of them is a fake. The real players have to figure out who the imposter is while the fake one tries to fool everyone. It’s part guessing game, part psychological trickery, and totally entertaining.
Finally, Fountain of Youth arrives on Apple TV+ on May 23. This one’s a big adventure with action, humor, and sibling rivalry. John Krasinski and Natalie Portman play a treasure hunter and a historian who don’t get along but must team up to find a mythical spring that grants eternal life. It’s fast-paced, globe-trotting fun with a dash of ancient secrets.
Plenty to keep your week exciting, whether you want drama, laughs, thrills, or all three.
