This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Ahsoka, Ragnarok S3 & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Depp V Heard’, ‘Harlan Coben’s Shelter’, and ‘Mask Girl’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Lighthouse (Streaming on Netflix from 22nd August)

The show features two leading entertainers Gen Hoshino and Masayasu Wakabayashi who casually talk about their lives, vulnerabilities, and other apprehensions in a light-hearted and amusing way.

Ahsoka (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 23rd August)

‘The Mandalorian’ spin-off action-adventure sci-fi series features Rosario Dawson in the titular role of former Jedi Ahsoka Tano, who investigates an impending threat to the galaxy after the fall of the Galactic empire.

Invasion Season-2 (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 23rd August)

The sci-fi series focuses on the stories of various people from different continents of the world and how they deal with a widespread alien invasion.

Ragnarok Season-3 (Streaming on Netflix from 24th August)

The Norwegian fantasy drama series is set amidst the backdrop of climate change and rampant pollution in a small Norwegian town. That’s when a teenage boy named Magne learns about his incredible powers of the God of Thunder – Thor. Now, Magne must fight a good vs evil battle against powerful enemies.

Who Is Erin Carter? (Streaming on Netflix from 24th August)

The limited series follows a British school teacher in Spain, whose peaceful life suddenly takes an action-packed turn after she gets involved in a supermarket robbery. Now, she must fight against the criminal underworld and save her daughter from her violent past.

The Roundup: No Way Out (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 24th August)

The third part of the action thriller Crime City film series revolves around daredevil detective Ma Seok-do, who joins a new crime investigation team to solve a murder case.

Baki Hanma Season-2 Part-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 24th August)

The anime action series revolves around a highly skilled fighter, who enters the Arizona State Prison in order to defeat a formidable inmate called Mr. Unchained.

About My Father (Streaming on Lionsgate Play from 25th August)

The comedy drama movie features stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco as himself, who decides to bring along his Italian father (Robert De Nero) for a weekend get together with her fiancé’s affluent and eccentric family.

Killer Book Club (Streaming on Netflix from 25th August)

The horror movie revolves around a bunch of friends who begin to get hunted one by one by a killer clown, who is aware of their common secret.

Wanted: The Escape of Carlos Ghosn (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 25th August)

The four-part docuseries focuses on the story of the former CEO of Nissan and Renault, who later turned into a fugitive, his arrest which stunned the whole world, and his incredible and calculated escape.

You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (Streaming on Netflix from 25th August)

The comedy drama movie is about two best friends who are planning for their bat mitzvah (a Jewish ritual celebration for girls turning 12). But the plan goes awry when a popular boy liked by both enters their lives.
