Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Blonde’, ‘Goodnight Mommy’, ‘Do Revenge’, and ‘Santo’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up for release. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on Indian OTT platforms from this week.
Andor (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 21st September)
The ‘Rogue One’ prequel series features Diego Luna in the lead role of Cassian Andor and is set five years before the events of the 2016 film. Andor is a thief who turns into a rebel spy and joins the Rebellion.
Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (Streaming on Netflix from 21st September)
The crime drama series revolves around the notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer aka Milwaukee Monster (played by Evan Peters) and is narrated from the perspective of the killer’s victims. The show focuses on how incompetence and leniency by the authorities and how Dahmer got away on multiple occasions.
The Kardashians Season-2 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 22nd September)
The reality show revolves around the highs and lows of the lives of the popular Kardashian/Jenner family and would also showcase their luxurious offices and sprawling houses. The series would feature Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and Khloé Kardashian along with Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner.
Blindspotting Season-2 (Streaming on Lionsgate Play from 23rd September)
It’s the sequel to the 2018 movie of the same name and takes place six months after the events shown in the film. The story focuses on Ashley’s character and how she and her son are forced to move in with the mother of her long-time partner Miles.
Lou (Streaming on Netflix from 23rd September)
Directed by Anna Foerster, the thriller movie follows an enigmatic woman with a mysterious past who must help a distressed neighbour to find the latter’s kidnapped daughter amidst the backdrop of a storm.
Dynasty Season-5 (Streaming on Netflix from 24th September)
A modern-day rehash of the popular 1980s opera of the same name, the series revolves around two most affluent American families – the Carringtons and the Colbeys and their nasty fight to stay on the top of the game and most importantly, to stay wealthy.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy (Streaming on Netflix from 24th September)
Based on Hiromu Arakawa’s popular manga series Full Metal Alchemist, the action-adventure movie follows the story of Ed and Al and their fight against a ruthless killer in order to protect the alchemists which includes themselves.
