Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Babylon’, ‘The Lincoln Lawyer S2’, ‘The Out-Laws’, and ‘The Pope’s Exorcist’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Unknown: Killer Robots (Streaming on Netflix from 10th July)
The documentary film focuses on the idea of a machine taking critical life-or-death decisions and the dangers of AI in military areas.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 11th July)
The seventh live-action Transformers movie is a prequel to the first Transformers film and is set in the 1990s period. The story is about how the Autobots team up with a new Transformers faction known as the Maximals in order to fight against the formidable Unicorn.
Devil’s Advocate (Streaming on Netflix from 13th July)
Set in Kuwait City, the mystery crime drama series revolves around a relentless defence lawyer, who takes up the difficult case of a football player who has been accused of murdering his wife.
King the Land – Hindi Dub (Streaming on Netflix from 13th July)
The Korean romantic comedy drama series follows the story of the rich heir of The King Group of hotels and how he clashes with one of the hotel’s diligent female employees, and sparks soon fly.
Bun the House Down (Streaming on Netflix from 13th July)
Based on a manga series, the mystery thriller show is about how a woman named Anzu Murata, who manages to enter the affluent home of the Mitarai family as a housekeeper thirteen years after a fire engulfed the Mitarai home. She makes it her secret mission to find out the real reason behind the fire incident.
Bird Box Barcelona (Streaming on Netflix from 14th July)
The post-apocalyptic movie is a Spanish spin-off to the 2018 film ‘Bird Box’ starring Sandra Bullock in the lead role. The story is about how a father-daughter duo roam around the deserted streets of Barcelona and try to survive after the world is destroyed by a powerful and dangerous entity.
Foundation Season-2 (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 14th July)
Based on Isaac Asimov’s critically acclaimed novels, the sci-fi series revolves around a group of exiles who try to save humanity amidst the fall of the Galactic Empire.
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season-2 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 14th July)
The romantic drama series is based on the second novel of Jenny Han’s bestselling book trilogy of the same name. The plot revolves around the love triangle between Belly and her friends – the two brothers Jeremiah and Conrad while they reunite at a beach house.
Too Hot To Handle Season-5 (Streaming on Netflix from 14th July)
It’s a reality dating show that involves a bunch of commitment-phobic singles who are brought together in a house for a few weeks. In order to win the prize money, they must remain abstinent during their time spent together.
