This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: FUBAR, John Wick 4 & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Your Honor Season-2’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’, and ‘XO, Kitty’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Victim/Suspect (Streaming on Netflix from 23rd may)

The documentary film follows the investigation of a journalist into a nationwide pattern of sexual assault victims being charged by the authorities for registering an incorrect report instead.

John Wick: Chapter 4 (Streaming on iTunes from 23rd May – Rent)

In the action-packed sequel, the highly skilled, taciturn titular assassin (played by Keanu Reeves) finds a way to defeat the High Table. But the path to his freedom is tougher than ever because John Wick must now face a new and powerful enemy and a friend turned foe in a rampaging race against time.

American Born Chinese (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 24th May)

Based on a graphic novel, the action-comedy series revolves around a regular teenage high school student, who inadvertently gets involved in a battle of Chinese mythical Gods. It features Michelle Yeoh and Ben Wang in major roles.

Missing (Streaming on Netflix & Amazon Prime Video from 24th May)

The movie follows a young LA-based woman named June, whose mother goes missing after the latter goes on a leisure trip to Columbia with her boyfriend. Now, the helpless June tries to find the whereabouts of her missing mother with the help of technology and social media platforms.

Hard Feelings (Streaming on Netflix from 24th May)

The German teen comedy movie tells the story of two close friends and their attempts to complete high school while dealing with their feelings for each other.

Mother’s Day (Streaming on Netflix from 24th May)

The Polish action thriller movie revolves around a former special agent, who uses her very particular set of skills to free her son from the clutches of some kidnappers.

Platonic (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 24th May)

The comedy series follows two former best friends (played by Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne), who reunite after a long rift. But their newly revived relationship derails their lives in an amusing way.

FUBAR (Streaming on Netflix from 25th May)

The spy action-adventure series is about a father-daughter duo (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro), who have been living with the common secret about working for the CIA. But the goings-on take an interesting turn when they come to know about it and the father comes back for one last mission.

Blood & Gold (Streaming on Netflix from 26th May)

The German war drama movie takes place after the second world war and tells the story of how a deserter and a young woman farmer join forces to fight against a group of Nazis who are searching for hidden gold.

Renfield (Streaming on BMS Stream from 26th May)

Nicholas Hoult plays the titular role of the long-suffering servant of the dreaded Transylvanian vampire Dracula (Nicholas Cage). After serving his boss for hundreds of years, Renfield now desperately wants to get away from Dracula as he is fed up with his current life and a ‘toxic’ relationship with his master.

Tin & Tina (Streaming on Netflix from 26th May)

Following an unfortunate miscarriage, a couple adopts the titular pair of brother-sister twins Tia and Tina, whose intense religious teachings severely affects the family.
