After her affluent father leaves her in their family mansion in the Philippines at the end of World War II, a fourteen-year-old girl tries to take the help of a mysterious fairy to save the life of her dying mother. But this results in some unexpected consequences.
Lessons in Chemistry (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 13th October)
Based on Bonnie Garmus’s bestselling novel of the same name and set during the 1960s period, the series features Brie Larson in the lead role. To achieve her dream of becoming a scientist against prevalent societal norms, the pregnant protagonist is ousted from her job instead. Later, she takes up the job of a cooking show host, which she uses to educate neglected housewives about scientific topics and that grabs many eyeballs.

The romantic drama movie revolves around two close childhood friends Noa and Hae Sung and how they are separated and reunited for a period of one week many years later in New York.
