Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Fargo Season-5’, ‘Oppenheimer’, Gran Turismo’, and ‘My Demon’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
American Symphony (Streaming on Netflix from 29th November)
Directed by Academy Award nominee Matthew Heineman, the documentary film focuses on the journey during a period of one year (2022 to be specific) in the life of musician Jon Batiste.
Slow Horses (Streaming on Apple TV+ from 29th November)
The spy thriller series revolves around a bunch of MI5 British Intelligence Agents burdened with the emotional baggage of botched up assignments and mistakes from the past. It features Gary Oldman as the leader of the group and they find themselves in the middle of a conspiracy.
PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (Streaming on BMS Stream from 29th November)
The animated superhero movie is about how the PAW Patrol pups gain incredible superpowers after a meteor crash. Now, the superhero pups must use their powers to stop a formidable arch-rival before it’s too late.
Obliterated (Streaming on Netflix from 30th November)
The action-comedy series follows an elite special forces team, who must come back into senses following a night of hard partying after they learn that the bomb they neutralized last night was fake. They must now race against time to deal with the real situation.
Virgin River Season-5 Part-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 30th November)
The basic storyline of the romantic drama series revolves around a Los Angeles based nurse and midwife Melinda ‘Mel’ Monroe, who relocates to the secluded town of Virgin River in Northern California. What seemed like a nice way to give a fresh start to her previously unhappy life turns out to be trickier than expected for Mel.
Family Switch (Streaming on Netflix from 30th November)
Directed by McG, the family comedy movie narrates the story of a family, whose lives spiral out of control after the parents somehow switch bodies with their two children, leading to an amusing turn of events.
Dumb Money (Streaming on BMS Stream from 30th November)
The comedy drama movie follows the story of a regular, middle class guy Keith Gill (Paul Dano) and the story revolves around how the video game store GameStop became the world’s hottest company. The film has been directed by Craig Gillespie.
The Equalizer 3 (Streaming on Netflix from 1st December)
The third instalment of ‘The Equalizer’ action thriller film series features Denzel Washington as the highly trained former CIA Black Ops turned vigilante, who tries to protect his new friends from the dangerous Sicilian mafia in Southern Italy after surviving a deadly gunshot.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, 2023 (Streaming On Disney+ Hotstar from 1st December)
The latest instalment of the Indiana Jones film series is set in the year 1969 and the story follows Indiana Jones joining forces with his goddaughter (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) to get hold of a legendary dial which can change the course of history. But in doing that, he must also deal with an ex-Nazi and NASA scientist (Mads Mikkelsen), who is after the same artifact. The movie has been directed by James Mangold.
May December (Streaming on Netflix from 1st December)
The movie features Natalie Portman as a Hollywood actress, who begins to research for her next role by trying to know more with the woman (Julianne Moore) and her controversial life she has to portray.
Sweet Home Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 1st December)
The South Korean apocalyptic monster horror series follows the story of a troubled high school student who has lost his family in a car accident. He moves into a new apartment and his life takes a U-turn when people begin to transform into deadly monsters, and he must fight against all odds to defend himself from these killer creatures.
The Shepherd (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 1st December)
Based on Frederick Forsyth’s novel of the same name, the short film revolves around a fighter pilot, who gets stranded on the North Sea after losing contact and running on limited fuel. Can he find a way out to get back home?
Candy Cane Lane (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 1st December)
The fantasy comedy movie features Eddie Murphy in the role of a desperate man who strikes a deal with a mysterious stranger to win a Christmas contest. But later he learns that the stranger is an evil elf with a bad reputation.
