This Week’s Top Foreign OTT Releases: Red Rose, Re/Member & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘You Season-4’, ‘Your Place or Mine’, ‘Not Dead Yet’, and ‘Love to Hate You’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated foreign OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Re/Member (Streaming on Netflix from 14th February)

The Japanese teen horror movie follows a group of high school students who get stuck in a murderous time loop. They must find the scattered remains of a dead body hidden in their school to get out of it and to see tomorrow.

All the Places (Streaming on Netflix from 14th February)

The Mexican comedy drama movie follows the story of an estranged brother-sister duo who make a sudden plan after their father’s death to fulfil their old childhood dream of a road trip on their motorbikes.

In Love All Over Again (Streaming on Netflix from 14th February)

The Spanish romantic drama series revolves around two people Irene and Julio who fall in and out of love over a span of two decades.

Perfect Match (Streaming on Netflix from 14th February)

The dating show brings back several popular singles from earlier reality shows like ‘“Too Hot to Handle,” “Love Is Blind” and “The Circle”, etc. The participants must compete to build relationships and the succeeding couple have the strategic advantage of making or breaking other matches.

Red Rose (Streaming on Netflix from 15th February)

The British horror series follows a bunch of teenagers who are exposed to a dangerous smartphone phone app called Red Rose. Now, they must team up to stop the deadly app from wreaking havoc on the users who have downloaded it.

African Queens: Njinga Season-1 (Streaming on Netflix from 15th February)

Narrated by Jada Pinkett Smith, the historical docuseries will focus on the seventeenth century fearless warrior queen Njinga of Angola amidst the backdrop of political rivalries and family betrayal.

Full Swing (Streaming on Netflix from 15th February)

From the makers of ‘Drive to Survive’ comes this documentary series which focuses on the wins and losses and the lives of a group of professional golfers amidst the backdrop of a series of golf championships.

The Law According to Lidea Poet (Streaming on Netflix from 15th February)

Inspired by the real-life story of Italy’s first female lawyer Lidea Poet, the period crime drama series is about how the young woman protagonist investigates a tricky murder case while fighting for practising law in the nineteenth century.

The Upshaws Season-3 (Streaming on Netflix from 16th February)

The family drama series revolves around the struggles and efforts of a working class African American Black family living in Indiana to live a happy life.

j-hope IN THE BOX (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 17th February)

The documentary special focuses on globally popular singer J-Hope’s behind-the-scenes look at the making of his first solo album ‘Jack in the Box’ and the challenges which were overcome during the creative process.

Ganglands Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 17th February)

The action crime series follows a heist expert named Mehdi, who must help his niece who has stolen expensive drugs from a drug lord’s associate.

Unlocked (Streaming on Netflix from 17th February)

Adapted from a Japanese film, the Korean mystery thriller movie follows an ordinary woman who loses her smartphone. But her life takes a U-turn when her lost phone with all her personal info is taken by a dangerous man.

A Girl and an Astronaut (Streaming on Netflix from 17th February)

The sci-fi romantic follows the story of an astronaut who suddenly comes back after a 30-year absence. The incident revives lost love and draws interest from a corporation about the reason for the astronaut’s same age even after three decades.

Sharper (Streaming on Apple TV Plus from 17th February)

Set in New York City, the psychological thriller movie is about how a man takes revenge by conning the ultra-rich billionaires on Manhattan. It features Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, and Justice Smith.

Hello Tomorrow (Streaming on Apple TV Plus from 17th February)

Set in a retro futuristic setting, the sci-fi comedy drama series follows a charming salesman (Billy Crudup), who, along with a group of travelling salesmen, tries to sell timeshares on the moon.
