Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’, ‘Jack Ryan Season-3’, ‘Nope’, ‘Alice in Borderland’, ‘Strange World’, and ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Treason (Streaming on Netflix from 26th December)
The British spy thriller series features ‘Daredevil’ actor Charlie Cox in the role of a well-trained MI6 agent Adam Lawrence, whose life takes an interesting turn after he encounters a Russian spy named Kara with whom he shares a troubled past.
7 Women and a Murder (Streaming on Netflix from 28th December)
The Italian mystery comedy film revolves around how seven women team up to solve the murder of their family patriarch. But they have their own hidden motives.
Rise of Empires: Ottoman Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 29th December)
The Turkish historical docudrama series focuses on the life of the Ottoman sultan – Sultan Mehmed II and his campaign to take Constantinople, the Eastern Roman capital.
The Glory (Streaming on Netflix from 30th December)
The eight-part South Korean series is about a woman, who hatches an elaborate plan to exact revenge from her childhood bullies who destroyed her life.
White Noise (Streaming on Netflix from 30th December)
Helmed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Noah Baumbach, the comedy drama movie is based on Don DeLillo’s 1985 novel of the same name. The underlying story revolves around an American family and how they deal with an air contamination incident which happens in their area.
Wildcat (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 30th December)
The documentary film follows a young British soldier who is suffering from depression and how he meets a wildlife rescuer in the Amazon rainforest. He finds a new meaning in his life after he takes up the responsibility of taking care of a baby ocelot (medium sized wild cat).
Kaleidoscope (Streaming on Netflix from 1st January)
The non-linear heist drama series features ‘Breaking Bad’ actor Giancarlo Esposito in the role of a master thief, who must overcome betrayal and greed to execute a massive heist of a whopping $7 billion. The interesting thing about the eight-episode show is that it can be watched in any order.
