Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Duranga’, ‘Heaven’, ‘’TamilRockerz’, ‘Yaanai’, and ‘Sherdil’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Helmed by Mandar Kurundkar, the romantic drama series revolves around two work colleagues Shaurya (Ayush Mehra) and Sanya (Barkha Singh), who later become flatmates and eventually fall in love with each other. The upcoming season would showcase how the couple manage their relationship while trying to maintain the balance between their personal and professional lives.
Maharani Season-2 (Streaming on SonyLIV from 25th August)
A fictionalized drama set amidst the political backdrop of 1990s Bihar, the episodic web series ‘Maharani’, created by Subhash Kapoor of ‘Jolly LLB’ fame, revolves around the fictional character of the wife of the Chief Minister of Bihar, whose life transforms overnight when she is suddenly appointed by her husband as the next CM. The series features Huma Qureshi in the lead role and the ensemble supporting cast includes Soham Shah, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Pramod Pathak, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in important roles.
Aparajito – The Undefeated (Streaming on Zee5 from 25th August)
Anik Dutta’s monochrome movie is inspired by the story of the struggles and what went behind the making of Satyajit Ray’s cult movie and his first feature film directorial venture ‘Pathar Panchali’.
Repeat (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 25th August)
When the daughter of a senior cop is kidnapped, an undercover police officer is sent to investigate the case. But the goings-on are mysteriously happening in accordance with a writer’s novel. The film features Naveen Chandra in the lead role.
Delhi Crime Season-2 (Streaming on Netflix from 26th August)
International Emmy Award-winning show features Shefali Shah as senior cop DCP Vartika Chaturvedi alongside proficient actors like Rajesh Tailang (Mirzapur, Selection Day), Rasika Dugal (Mirzapur, Out of Love) and Adil Hussain (English Vinglish, Agent Vinod), amongst others. The upcoming season follows a fictionalized take on a true crime that follows the cop’s new case which revolves around the killings of several senior citizens in the capital city by a mysterious group of killers.
Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 26th August)
Acclaimed actor Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as the well-intentioned advocate Madhav Mishra in the third instalment of the ‘Criminal Justice’ legal drama web series directed by Rohan Sippy. This time, the protagonist must face a strong-willed opponent (Shweta Basu Prasad) in his toughest case ever. The case is about the murder of a child star where the victim’s own brother becomes the prime suspect, who Madhav Mishra has to defend in the court.
Tirandaj Shabor (Streaming on Hoichoi from 26th August)
Helmed by Arindam Sil, the mystery thriller movie narrates the story of a taxi driver Sumit (Nigel Akkara), who takes a seriously ill passenger to the police station. But the story takes an interesting turn when the driver himself is held as a suspect by the cops after the passenger is later found dead. ACP Shabor Dasgupta (Saswata Chatterjee) and his junior Nanda (Subhrajit Dutta) begin to investigate the mysterious case to catch the culprit.
