Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (Streaming on Netflix from 25th October)
The eight-part horror anthology series has been created by Academy Award-winning Mexican filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and is based on his own short story bearing the same name. The first two episodes of the scary stories will start streaming from 25th October.
Blade of the 47 Ronin (Streaming on Netflix from 25th October)
The action fantasy drama movie is a sequel to the 2013 film ‘47 Ronin’. The story takes place 300 years after the events shown in the first film in the present-day where Japanese Ronin warriors live in utter secrecy with the mission to protect the powerful sword from getting into the wrong hands.
The Good Nurse (Streaming on Netflix from 26th October)
Based on Charles Graeber’s 2013 book of the same name, the crime thriller movie features Jessica Chastain as a devoted and overburdened nurse and single mother Amy, who finds relief after the arrival of a new nurse Charles Cullen (Eddie Redmayne) at the hospital. But after a series of unexpected patient deaths, the new nurse becomes a suspect for these mysterious deaths.
Jhansi (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 27th October)
The action thriller Telugu language web series features Anjali in the role of an amnesiac wife and mother, who must reconcile with her mysterious past to unearth the truth and protect her loved ones.
Dubai Bling (Streaming on Netflix from 27th October)
The Arabic reality series focuses on a group of affluent Arab millionaires from different fields and their lavish lifestyles in the city of bling.
Indian Predator: Murder in a Courtroom (Streaming on Netflix from 28th October)
The true crime documentary series is the third part of the Indian Predator series and focuses on the ruthless criminal named Akku Yadav, who was killed by a group of women in a crowded courtroom in Nagpur in the year 2004.
Appan (Streaming on SonyLIV from 28th October)
The Malayalam comedy crime drama movie follows the story of a long-time bedridden man named Itty and how his son Njoonj and his family wish for the old man to die.
Flames Season-3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 28th October)
It’s a cute and refreshing teenage romantic dramedy innocently narrated through a series that has its heart in the right place. The title derives its name from a game you may have played in the 1990s to find your love relationship status. The plot follows a romantic relationship that develops between two tuition mates Rajat and a newcomer Ishita.
All Quiet on the Western Front (Streaming on Netflix from 28th October)
Based on German novelist Erich Maria Remarque’s 1929 book of the same name, the anti-war movie follows the story of a young German soldier Paul Bäumer (Felix Kammerer), who begins to understand the brutal life in the trenches during World War-I.
