Marvel Studios, at this stage and generation, needs no introduction. The home to our favorite superheroes, Marvel has always been a step ahead in creating visual extravaganzas for fans with their movies. As Marvel fans or fans of cinema in usual, one can see how much work goes in, in Marvel movies to make it what it is today. Now, with more and more series coming in and even bigger movies, Marvel is upping their game with the visual factor. Now, there have been even more updates about a certain Marvel project, and oh boy! It’s already looking magical.
In a recent interview with the director of “Thor: Love And Thunder”, Taika Waititi commented on what one can expect from the upcoming Thor movie. First and foremost, the one thing Taika Waititi had to mention was how different the movie will be from all of the Thor movies. It is a known fact that the first two Thor movies didn’t quite pan out as expected but, those were the movies that introduced Jane Foster, who will be one key character for the 4th installment of the movie. Now, as Marvel brought Taika Waititi into the picture, the entire scenario for Thor changed.
Now continuing with the legacy, Thor: Love and Thunder will be another blaster from the brilliant director. Waititi in his latest interview revealed what else has been going on with the filming, especially with the shooting part. He mentioned several cameras, which are known as state-of-the-art products and also some of the best in the filming industry. Waititi will be using a brand new technology for the movie with a visual effects tool called “PlateLight”. This is one tool that uses lighting at high speeds to capture multiple set-ups in that exact camera shot.
This is not the first time Taika Waititi will be using such a pathbreaking technology. He had earlier done the same with Thor: Ragnarok, where he used a gadget called “Dynamiclight” that allows the lighting to go faster than the speed of sound, which in itself is on a whole different level. Taika Waititi is one director that has successfully incorporated comedy and action on a completely different level in the Thor franchise and going ahead with the fourth installment if reports are to be believed it will be even greater than all other Marvel movies.
Also besides action and superhero-ey stuff, one thing the fourth installment will be looking forward to will be the love story of Jane and Thor which was dropped midway somewhere in the Avengers: Endgame. It reportedly will be one crucial part of the movie. The movie besides Thor and Jane also has the entire team of Guardians of the Galaxy and Nebula will be making her appearance in the movie too, along with Christian Bale, who is playing the antagonist, Gorr: The God Butcher. As per the testaments of the actors on set, Taika Waititi’s new found love has been Thor 4 and now will go on to add many more factors that will make this movie even more amazing.
So, with all the details in place, one can see how and where the 4th Thor movie is headed towards. It will be a mix of comedy, romance, and of course, superhero actions, and with that will be the addition of brilliant filmmaking and post-production work, thanks to the creative geniuses.
Now, we can only wait to see the first clips, posters, teasers, trailers of the movie drop to at least assess how great the movie will be before we can watch it on screens and probably witness the best visual experience for a Marvel movie.
