Netflix‘s huge announcement #ComeOnNetflix is the talk of the town. It announced 17 whopping titles, one of which is ‘Tribhanga.’
‘Tribhanga’ stars Kajol, Mithila Palkar, and Tanvi Azmi as three women of three different generations of a dysfunctional family living together in Mumbai, and the complex relationships they share. The film oscillates between the past and present, from the late 1980s to present times, as it looks at life through the lens of these three women of diverse views and experiences. ‘Tribhanga‘ marks actress Renuka Shahane’s directorial debut and Kajol’s digital debut. This generational drama is produced by Ajay Devgn under his production banner Ajay Devgn Ffilms.
Kajol released this Netflix Orginal’s first look on Twitter in which she is seen in a western attire, staring at Mithila Palkar, who is busy with her phone and chose a traditional look. “A story of three women who dance to their own beat, Tribhanga shows you the perfection in imperfection,” tweeted Kajol, tagging her co-stars and Renuka, while clearly mentioning how excited she is for its release. Kunal Roy Kapoor and Vaibhav Tatwawaadi play prominent roles in the movie, apart from the three aforementioned actresses.
Trailer and release date are not disclosed yet but we know it’s a Netflix orginal releasing in 2020. Watch this space for further updates!
