Eminent Indian actor-director Tigmanshu Dhulia is fresh off the heels of the widespread acclaim for his most recent directorial web series project ‘The Great Indian Murder’, which is streaming on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform. And the filmmaker is already on to his next project, which is another web series titled ‘Garmi’.
In an important development regarding Tigmanshu Dhulia’s web series ‘Garmi’, earlier today, the National Award-winning filmmaker took to Twitter to apprise his fans that he is done with the first schedule of ‘Garmi’ in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh with a group of new actors.
Finished our first schedule of Garmi in Bhopal worked with a lovely bunch of first time actors was frustrating at times but rejuvenating and a totally new experience this is what film MAKING is all about

While nothing much is currently known about the precise plot of ‘Garmi’, the web series is said to be based on the subject of university and student politics and is set amidst the backdrop of Bhopal. Along with some young actors, the show also features some experienced performers such as Mukesh Tiwari, Vineet Kumar, and Jatin Goswami in important roles. If everything goes as per plan, ‘Garmi’ might come out by the end of this year itself.
‘Garmi’ is obviously not the first time Tigmanshu Dhulia is trying his hands on the OTT space. Because before ‘The Great Indian Murder’, the filmmaker had helmed two popular web series namely ‘Criminal Justice’ and ‘Out of Love’, both for the Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform.
Besides, Tigmanshu Dhulia has previously also directed some fine films such as ‘Haasil’, ‘Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster’, and ‘Paan Singh Tomar’, to name a few. Stay tuned to Binged for the latest updates on Tigmanshu Dhulia’s upcoming web series ‘Garmi’.
