Globally renowned movies database entertainment portal IMDb houses a list/widget of the most anticipated new Indian movies and shows (both theatrical and OTT) that ascertains the real-time popularity of that title. This is determined by the number of pageviews these titles are generating on IMDb. Each title is then ranked by IMDb as per the aggregate number of pageviews.
The topmost spot on the IMDb list has been bagged by the high concept time-travel sci-fi action movie ‘Mark Antony’ in which the two titular protagonists Mark and Antony get hold of a mobile phone which enables them to travel in time. It has surpassed films like ‘Leo’ and ‘Salaar’ on the IMDb top ten list.
On the second spot of the IMDb list is Lokesh Kanagraj’s action thriller movie ‘Leo’ starring Vijay and Trisha in the lead roles.
And the third most anticipated Indian title on the IMDb list is the comedy movie ‘Thank You for Coming’. Helmed by Karan Boolani, it follows the story of a Delhi-based food blogger Kanika (played by Bhumi Pednekar), who has never had an orgasm, until it happens one night. But the problem is that she can’t remember that person.
Besides big-ticket theatrical releases, not even a single Indian OTT title has made it to the IMDb top 10 list this time.
