Gareth Evans’ upcoming Netflix film ‘Havoc’ has now finished its casting. These new cast members will be joining Tom Hardy and Forest Whitaker, as announced earlier.
Among the latest addition to the star cast we have Timothy Olyphant (‘Deadwood’, ‘Hitman’); the ‘Shadow and Bone’ star Jessie Mei Li, who will soon be seen in Edgar Wright’s upcoming film ‘Last Night in Soho’; Malaysian actress Yeo Yann Yann, known for her credits like ‘Thunderstorm’, ‘Singapore Dreaming’ and more.
‘Training Day’, ‘Jingle Jangle’ star Justin Cronwell; Quelin Sepulveda (‘The Other End’, ‘Late Nights at the Movies’); Puerto Rican actor Luis Guzmán (‘Out of Sight’, ‘The Limey’); Sunny Pang (‘Headshot’, ‘The Night Comes for Us’) and UFC mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson.
Written and directed by Gareth Evans, ‘Havoc’ is an action thriller film and is the first feature film being launched as part of his recently signed exclusive deal with Netflix. Under the deal Evans will produce and direct films for the studio for the next several years.
The official logline for ‘Havoc’ reads, “After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.”
Gareth Evans for One More One Productions, Ed Talfan for Severn Screen, Aram Tertzakian for XYZ Films and Tom Hardy will produce ‘Havoc’ for Netflix.
Netflix is yet to announce the release date for Gareth Evans’ ‘Havoc’.
