After a long delay, the crime fighting kids of the DC universe are back. Yes folks, you heard it right. Titans season 3 finally has a release update, courtesy the casts of the show and fans now just can’t keep calm!
Earlier yesterday, the official twitter handle of the Titans series shared a montage clip that includes the lead cast announcing that the Titans series will air on HBO Max in August, this year. They haven’t revealed the date yet but after a long delay of almost 2 years because of the pandemic all over the world, it’s really fantastic to know that we are so close to the release of season 3 of Titans.
For those who are not familiar with the Titans, the show is based on DC’s Teen Titans where teenage superhero and Batman’s sidekick Dick Grayson aka Nightwing teams up with Rachel Roth aka Raven, Kory Anders aka Starfire, along with Beast Boy, Robin, Superboy, Hawk and Dove, and the Wonder Girl to fight crime and criminals in Gotham City. The show was announced in 2014 and the first season premiered in October 2018. The first two seasons were aired on DC Universe while HBO Max, the new home for DC-related content, will premiere the third season.
Titans feature an ensemble cast of Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy along with Curran Walters, Conor Leslie, Alan Ritchson, Minka Kelly, Chelsea Zhang, and Joshua Orpin amongst others. The show is created by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman along with Geoff Johns, and Greg Berlanti of Berlanti Productions in association with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television.
Titans has a strong fan base and enjoyed fantastic critical reception since its first season and that’s what makes the third season more exciting and worth waiting for!
