Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and his team of teenagers with extraordinary powers are ready to come back for Season 4! The last season concluded on October 21 last year. It received more favourable reviews than its previous instalments. Critics hailed it as the best entry in the entire superhero series. The grand success of the third season inspired the trio of Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti, and Geoff Johns to go for another entry. Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming season!
What’s the plot of Titans Season 4?
We don’t know what the writers have in mind for the forthcoming instalment. The first two seasons suffered from some tonal inconsistencies and surprising twists. How about the shocking death of Wonder Girl? Her demise received a severe backlash from the viewers. Fans criticised her death as unwanted.
However, the third entry was a major improvement over its predecessors. But we are not sure how smart was the revelation about A.R.G.U.S operating in Gotham City for the entire time. Still, it is a pretty good addition to the series.
According to the latest reports, the upcoming season may introduce the Brotherhood of Evil. Additionally, the makers are planning to focus more on Beast Boy in Season 4. Ryan Potter’s character deserves proper growth and development in the show. The writers cannot overlook Gar now. And it was none other than the Brotherhood of Evil who was responsible for his parents’ death. It is a golden opportunity for Gar to shine in the fourth season.
Do we have a release date for Season 4?
The upcoming season is expected to get dispatched in the winter of 2022. Let’s hope the ongoing COVID pandemic doesn’t ruin the much-anticipated release of Season 4.
What about the cast for Season 4?
Fans can expect to see the familiar faces of Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), Raven (Teagan Croft), Starfire (Anna Diop), Superboy (Joshua Orpin), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) in Season 4. We know that Hawk (Alan Ritchson) died in the last season. There’s no way he is coming back to the series. Although, we can see his heartbeat, Dove (Minka Kelly), in a special cameo appearance. The same goes for Curran Walters as Jason Todd.
The newest additions include Jay Lycurgo as Tim Drake. And The Vampire Diaries fame, Joseph Morgan, has also joined the cast recently. He will play Brother Blood.
