T’Nia Miller has secured a major role in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Vision series on Disney+. The actress is believed to be playing the supremely powerful and cunning Jocasta, who is driven by vengeance.
Miller is best known for her performances in Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher and Apple TV+’s Foundation series. She will star alongside Paul Bettany, who will reprise his role as the titular character in the upcoming MCU project.
The events of Vision will take place after WandaVision, which starred Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch.
In the comics, Ultron builds Jocasta as his bride, but she eventually decides to support the Avengers. Ultron wanted Jocasta to have a “soul,” prompting him to imprint her mind with the brain patterns of Janet van Dyne (The Wasp). However, this process imbued Jocasta with Janet’s morality and resistance, allowing her to rebel against Ultron.
T’Nia Miller’s casting has yet to be officially confirmed by Marvel or Disney.
Speaking of Ultron, James Spader will once again lend his voice and motion capture to the character in the show, returning after Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Other talents attached to the series include Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, and Faran Tahir.
A fixed release window for the Vision Disney+ series has not been revealed yet, but the project is slated to debut in 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
