The Telugu Movie Artists Association – MAA elections 2021 were held today and the results are out now. Manchu Vishnu is elected as the MAA president as he won against Prakash Raj in a fairly comprehensive manner. There is no official update regarding the majority by which Vishnu won but it is heard that he won by a relatively big margin.
However, Prakash Raj’s panel members Srikanth, Benerjee, and Uttej were elected as the Executive Vice President, Vice President, and Joint Secretary. Vishnu’s panelist, Raghubabu won over Jeevitha Rajasekhar and he is the new General Secretary of MAA. Vishnu’s panelist Sivabalaji bagged the treasurer post as he won against Nagineedu.
As for the Executive Committee member posts, Prakash Raj’s panelists won four of them while Vishnu’s panelists won 8. The list is down below.

While speaking about the MAA elections saga, Chiranjeevi said “We(Telugu artists) shouldn’t be indulging in heated verbal exchanges and sling mud on each other just for the sake of small-time posts. It is high time that we all stand together. If we can’t stand united, we will be humiliating ourselves in front of others. Now that the elections are done and the results are out, let us all stand together and work for the collective welfare of the industry.”
A total of 665 votes were polled in the MAA elections. This is the highest ever voter turnout in the history of MAA. Top celebrities like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Akhil Akkineni, and others stepped out to cast their votes.
