Varun Tej, the mega hero, faces yet another setback in his career with the lackluster performance of his latest release, Operation Valentine. The film, receiving dismal footfall in cinemas across Telugu states, is met with near-deserted theatres, signifying its failure to draw audiences.
With day 1 earnings barely touching 1.8 Cr, Operation Valentine’s prospects plummet further as it struggles to sustain at the box office. The film’s projected closing share of around Rs 3Cr starkly contrasts its hefty 42Cr budget, making it a monumental failure in Varun Tej’s career.
Despite aggressive promotional efforts by the mega hero, the film fails to resonate with viewers due to its lackluster content, resulting in poor reviews and minimal audience interest. Varun Tej’s portrayal of an IAF officer and Manushi Chhillar’s role as a radar officer, despite their intense training, fail to salvage the film’s fate.
Sony Pictures International Productions, Sandeep Mudda Renaissance Pictures, and God Bless Entertainment collectively produce Operation Valentine. However, despite substantial backing, the film fails to attract viewership, highlighting the stark reality of its disappointing reception despite concerted promotional endeavors. It is available on Amazon Prime Video as of writing this article, but the reviews have still been in the same ballpark altogether.
