Venom 3 finally gets an exciting update from its leading man, Tom Hardy. Sony is not done with its Spider-Man Universe yet. Yes, the superhero franchise still needs one big entry to cement itself in terms of critical reception. The last two Venom films were no cinematic masterpieces. They lacked strong storylines. But thanks to Hardy and his gung-ho physical performance. He saved both entries and made them entertaining as hell. However, we cannot say the same for Morbius.
Sony confirmed Venom 3 after Hardy’s brief appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The protagonist has now confirmed that the film is officially in the pre-production stage. He made the announcement via his Instagram account. Also, he shared a deleted scene between Venom and Eddie Brock from the previous entry, Let There Be Carnage.

Sony is yet to reveal the release window of Venom 3. But we do know that the studio has roped in Kelly Marcel to write and helm the third symbiote instalment. She wrote the first two films and co-produced them. As for the film’s screenplay, she will collaborate with Hardy.
Apart from Tom Hardy, no other actor has been added to the movie’s cast. Although, it will be curious to see if Michelle Williams returns to the third entry as Anne Weying. Sony is yet to confirm her inclusion in its upcoming feature release.
Sony has planned to release Kraven The Hunter, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, in October this year. And Dakota Johnson’s Madame Web project is currently in the post-production stage, scheduled to release in February 2024.
It will be interesting to see if Tom Hardy returns to the franchise after Venom 3. Will he finally put a stop to his superhero chapter? Or will he continue to play the popular black symbiote? Let’s wait to find out! Stay tuned for more updates.
