Guy Ritchie’s upcoming crime drama, MobLand, is set to premiere in March on JioHotstar for Indian viewers. The series was originally produced for Paramount+ and is slated for release in the U.S. on March 30. Due to the time zone difference, Indian viewers will be able to watch it on March 31. Led by Tom Hardy, the web series also features talents such as Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.
Originally conceived as a prequel to Ray Donovan titled The Donovans, MobLand evolved into an independent crime drama series. Ronan Bennett is the creator and sole writer, while Guy Ritchie serves as one of the executive producers. He has also directed several episodes.
The show’s cast is stacked, featuring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Lisa Dwan, Emily Barber, Daniel Betts, Geoff Bell, and more.
MobLand revolves around Maeve (Mirren) and Conrad Harrigan (Brosnan), the leaders of the crime-ridden Harrigan family, with Harry Da Souza (Hardy) serving as their main fixer. Based on the promotional video, it looks like another scintillating gangster drama from Guy Ritchie.
