The wait is finally over for Marvel fans. After months of feverish speculation and leaked snippets, Tom Holland has officially confirmed that the first full trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will drop tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
This fourth installment in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise isn’t just a sequel. It’s being billed as a complete “fresh start” for Peter Parker following the reality-shattering events of No Way Home.
Picking up approximately four years after the world forgot who Peter Parker was, Brand New Day finds a matured, isolated Spider-Man protecting the streets of New York. Without the resources of Stark Industries or the support of his best friends, Peter is rebuilding his life from scratch.
The film’s title pays homage to the 2008 comic book run, which similarly saw Peter navigating a soft reboot of his personal life and superhero career.
While the film is a solo outing, Peter won’t be entirely alone in the MCU landscape. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that the film will lean into “street-level” crime, featuring some heavy-hitting cameos, such as The Punisher (played by Jon Bernthal) and Bruce Banner (aka The Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo).
We also have some new villains. Michael Mando is expected to finally suit up as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III has joined the cast as the formidable crime boss Tombstone.
In a first-of-its-kind promotional strategy, Tom Holland revealed on Instagram that fans across the world would be “piecing together” the trailer. Throughout today, March 17, small clips have been trickling out via various fan accounts and creators, building toward the global debut tomorrow.
