Top 10 Most Pirated TV Shows From 2022; Piracy Isn’t Kind On Disney+

Piracy is one of the biggest threats to the entertainment industry. Filmmakers spend years making a TV Show/Film but it gets leaked as soon as it releases; sometimes before too.

But in the age of the internet, it is next to impossible to permanently stop it. So a website called “Torrent Freak” keeps an eye on whatever is going on in the Torrent market. They have released a list of all the TV shows that were pirated in maximum numbers.

Have a look at that.

As you can see in the list, 5 of them are Disney+ series. Thus it is clearly the biggest victim of piracy among all platforms. However, we have mentioned 6 shows on Disney+Hotstar because the first one, although streaming on Hotstar is actually an HBO Max series.

Regardless, the first series is not so surprising. Because the House of the Dragon finale was leaked before its official release and it had a major impact on the viewership of the show. 2 Marvel and 2 Star Wars series made to the list. Also, Netflix was pretty lucky with only one show on the list i.e. Stranger Things.

The most pathetic victim however was Prime Video. It made the most expensive show in television history and was pirated the second highest time.
