OTT platform BookMyShow Stream has a number of exciting films and series titles lined up for release during the December second half. In this article, we have shortlisted for our readers a list of top five films and series that will stream on BMS Stream from 15th December to 31st December 2021.
The Investigation (Streaming from 17th December)
It’s a six-part Danish/Swedish series that revolves around the homicide investigation for the murder of freelance Swedish journalist Kim Wall, which happened in August 2017. The series narrates the prosecution’s endeavors to convict the culprit with the help of the police department, marine scientists, divers, and volunteers, etc.
Palm Springs (Streaming from 24th December)
It’s a science fiction rom-com which follows the story of two guests Nyles (Andy Samberg) and Sarah (Cristin Milioti) who develop a liking for each other at a wedding reception function. However, by a twist of fate, these budding lovers somehow get stuck in a seemingly infinite time loop. The film also features spider-man actor J.K. Simmons in an interesting role.
Riders of Justice (Streaming from 24th December)
This Danish action-comedy revenge thriller movie stars ‘Hannibal’ actor Mads Mikkelsen as a soldier who goes home to his young daughter after learning that his wife has been killed in a train accident. Things soon take an interesting turn after he meets an accident survivor. He begins to think that his wife was actually murdered and makes it his mission to bring justice to the culprits.
Halloween Kills (Streaming from 26th December)
Directed by David Gordon Green, the film is a sequel to the 2018 slasher horror movie ‘Halloween’ and continues the story arcs of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney).
Spencer (Streaming from 31st December)
Helmed by Pablo Larrain, the film features Kristen Stewart in the role of Princess Diana and ostensibly narrates an imagining of that part of Princess Diana’s life when she had decided to end her 10-year-old marriage with Prince Charles (played by Jack Farthing).
