5. Dr. No (1962)
This was the first film of the James Bond saga and featured proficient actor Sean Connery in the titular of the globetrotting spy. The British MI6 agent is sent on a mission to Jamaica to investigate the suspected murder of another agent. He teams up with a CIA agent and eventually crosses paths with his formidable adversary Dr. No., who is hellbent to derail the US space program and dominate the world.
4. From Russia With Love (1963)
The film was acting legend Sean Connery’s second outing as the daredevil devil agent James Bond. The movie follows the adventures of James Bond’s mission in Istanbul to get hold of a Russian encryption device. However, unbeknown to 007, it may be a trap by the evil organization SPECTRE to avenge the death of their agent Dr. No. On his trail are a former KGB agent and a formidable assassin who have a secret mission of their own.
3. Casino Royale (2006)
Daniel Craig’s debut Bond film ‘Casino Royale’ was helmed by Martin Campbell, incidentally the same director behind Pierce Brosnan’s first James Bond movie ‘Golden Eye’. The movie follows the British secret service agent’s first mission after acquiring the coveted 00 status. He teams up with a treasury employee (Eva Green) to outwit a private financier (Mads Mikkelsen) of terrorist organizations in a do-or-die poker game at Casino Royale in order to bankrupt him.
2. Skyfall (2012)
Directed by Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition, 1917), the film starts off with Bond’s (Daniel Craig) latest mission gone awry thereby exposing secret agents across the globe. MI6 is later attacked which makes the organization’s head ‘M’ resort to her only trustworthy ally – James Bond, who must foil attempts of a revenge-driven former MI6 agent turned cyberterrorist (Javier Bardem).

James Bond (Sean Connery) is sent to investigate a gold-obsessed tycoon Auric Goldfinger. As Bond delves deeper into the gold smuggling case, he discovers Goldfinger’s nefarious scheme called Operation Grand Slam whose motive is to contaminate the gold reserve of Fort Knox and eventually destroy the Western economy.
