The upcoming epic of Marvel Studios “Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness” is just some days ahead and they have been adding up the excitement revealing more featurette and TV spots clips from the movie. It is also filled with many rumours about the cameo roles of other characters in the movie and already confirmed appearances of Professor X, Captain Carter and Maria Rambeau. There are yet other characters from the MCU which fans like to see in the movie. Since this is a Multiversal movie chances are infinite. The following is the list of such characters which fans will love to see in Doctor Strange 2.
Wolverine Variant
The last time we saw Wolverine was in the movie Logan (2017) where an old and retired Wolverine man is struggling to live up to the past glory of Wolverine. The movie marked the end of Wolverine where he finally surrenders to death. The confirmation of the presence of Charles Xavier means there will be other members of X-Men as well. And Wolverine is one of the most important characters in X-Men. Therefore, a variant of Wolverine is expected in the movie and possibly a new actor other than Hugh Jackman will play as Wolverine.
Deadpool
Deadpool is another strong contender in the list to appear in the movie. Being in the X-Men universe, Deadpool aka Wade Wilson is waiting to make an official entry to MCU. The rumours of his appearance became stronger when hints of Deadpool were seen the charades of the broken glass around Doctor Strange. But Ryan Reynolds who is playing as Deadpool has completely denied his presence in the movie. But since Marvel actors are very bad at denying their presence it is just a matter of time.
Superior Iron Man
We all witnessed the bitter death of Tony Stark aka Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame. It was really difficult for the fans to digest the fact that Tony Stark is no more. Robert Downey Jr who played the role made one of the most loved characters in MCU. And now a variant of Tony Stark played by Tom Cruise is said to be appearing in the movie. Superior Iron Man is one of the first members of Illuminati. So, the chances for a cameo role of Superior Iron man can’t be denied since the presence of Illuminati is already confirmed in the movie.
Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman
Ever since Spiderman: No Way Home fans are expecting Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to return again in other movies. Campaigns over their solo movies are lively, an ad of Doctor Strange 2 hinted at Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman and since Doctor Strange 2 is directed by Sam Raimi the director of Tobey’s Spiderman trilogy chances are high for an appearance.
Black Panther Variant
Black Panther the King of Wakanda is also expected to show up in Doctor Strange 2. With Chadwick Boseman’s passing back in 2020 a variant of Black Panther, may be Michael B Jordan’s Killmonger after the events of What if could take up the mantle of Black Panther. In a trailer, fans spotted the arm and back in silhouette of a character that is very much similar to Black Panther. In the comics Black Panther also became a member of Illuminati which also strengthens his possibility to make an appearance in the movie.
