From 1952 to 1966, the company dispatched more than 350 million gallons of contaminated water into nearby ponds and other water resources in Hinkley, California. Roberts bagged the Oscar for her sensational performance in this Steven Soderbergh directional.

And Bilott emerged as the lawyer who single-handedly destroyed the entire company with his lawsuit.
