Top 7 Foreign Films & Series Streaming on OTT This Week

Last week was marked with the arrival of many exciting foreign OTT films and shows such as ‘How I Met Your Father’, ‘The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman’, ‘Billions Season 6’, and ‘Ozark Season 4’ to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of the top foreign titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.

Snowpiercer Season 3 (Streaming on Netflix from 25th January)

This post-apocalyptic thriller show is based on Bong Joon-ho’s 2013 film starring Chris Evans and also the French graphic novel by Jacques Lob. Set in the year 2026, the series follows the lives of the passengers of the constantly moving titular train that runs across the globe and carries the planet’s survivors, seven years after the world has transformed into a frozen wasteland.

The Sinner Season 4 (Streaming on Netflix from 26th January)

It’s a police procedural show that follows a police detective Harry Ambrose (played by the criminally underrated Bill Pullman) who delves into why ordinary persons commit extraordinary crimes. In the fourth season, when a tragedy strikes a renowned family in New England, former cop Harry is hired to help with the investigation.

Framed! A Sicilian Murder Mystery (Streaming on Netflix from 27th January)

The Italian crime show follows the story of two out-of-luck television technicians who accidentally find themselves amidst a murder scene. All their desperate efforts to stay away from the needle of suspicion lands them further into even more problems.

All Of Us Are Dead (Streaming on Netflix from 28th January)

Based on the webtoon ‘Now at Our School’, it’s a South Korean show where high school students are forced to fight a zombie outbreak in a battle for survival, in order to avoid becoming the infected creatures themselves. Killing or getting killed are the only two options left for them.

Angry Birds: Summer Madness (Streaming on Netflix from 28th January)

This Angry Birds spin-off series will follow the story of teenage birds namely Red, Chuck, Bomb, and Stella along with their new feathered friends and their adventures at a summer camp.

The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 28th January)

This is the sixth installment of the ‘Ice Age’ film series which started way back in the year 2002. The film focuses on the hilarious misadventures of possum brothers Crash and Eddie after they get trapped underneath a giant cave – the Lost World. They are saved by the one-eyed adventurous weasel Buck Wild and they team up to save the Lost World from being ruled by dinosaurs.

Titane (Streaming on Mubi from 28th January)

The film’s basic premise revolves around a father reuniting with his son, who has been missing for ten years. Titane is actually a metal that is highly resistant to corrosion and heat with high tensile strength alloys. It’s often used in medical prostheses due to its pronounced biocompatibility.
