Top Foreign Titles Releasing This Week on OTT: The Boys S3 & More

Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting foreign OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Stranger Things Season-4’, ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’, and ‘Emergency’, to name a few.

Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up for release. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top foreign titles streaming on Indian OTT platforms from this week.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 30th May & BookMyShow from 2nd June – PPV)

Helmed by David Yates, the fantasy film revolves around how Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) assigns his confidant and Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) and his ragtag team of wizards and witches to counter the rising power of the dark and powerful wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen).

Norm MacDonald: Nothing Special (Streaming on Netflix from 30th May)

The almost hour-long comedy special features the last comic act of the legendary comedian Norm MacDonald, who died of Cancer last year. Norm talks about various topics including casinos, living wills, his upbringing, gambling habits, taboos, and cannibalism, etc in a light-hearted and entertaining way. He had filmed the comedy special in just one take within the confines of his home while he was ill.

The Perfect Mother (Streaming on Netflix from 1st June)

After learning that her daughter Anya has been accused of a murder, her determined mother Helene Berg travels from Berlin to Paris in an attempt to prove her daughter’s innocence. She takes the help of her former lover and lawyer Vincent. As the investigation proceeds, Helene begins to doubt whether her daughter is really innocent or guilty of the crime.

The Boys Season 3 (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 3rd June)

A satirical take on one of the most popular comic-book superheroes, the show is set in a world where superheroes are adored by people. They are being managed by a corrupt, multi-billion-dollar organization named Vought. The plot follows another group of titular vigilantes ‘The Boys’, who are hellbent on destroying those superheroes who abuse their superpowers. The ragtag team is led by the disgruntled Billy Butcher who is after Vought’s most powerful superhero team ‘The Seven’ led by the indestructible megalomaniac Homelander.

Belfast (Streaming on BookMyShow from 3rd June)

Helmed by Kenneth Branagh, the Oscar-winning film follows the journey of a young boy named Buddy, who finds himself in the midst of a violent sectarian clash in 1969 Belfast which forces his own family to decide whether to leave the place or stay back.
