Last week was marked with the arrival of many exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Minnal Murali’, ‘Satyamev Jayate 2’, ‘Parampara’, and ‘Shark Tank India’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT films and web series coming up. For this article, we have collated a list of top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms in the last week of December.
Kaaval (Streaming on Netflix from 27th December)
This Malayalam action thriller movie revolves around former best friends and business partners namely Thampan (played by Suresh Gopi) and Antony (Renji Panicker) who used to jointly own a sawmill. Many years later, when the latter gets into serious trouble, he asks for Thampan’s help to get out of the mess.
Riverfront Stories (Streaming on OHO Gujarati from 30th December)
It’s a four-part anthology series that will stream on the same platform that gave us the Pratik Gandhi starrer Gujarati web series ‘Vitthal Teedi’ earlier this year. As the name suggests, the common binding factor for all these four heartwarming stories would be the titular place Riverfront and it would narrate various themes like lost love, hardships, innocence, and compassion, etc.
Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 31st December)
Directed by Nadirsha, ‘Kesu Ee Veedinte Nadhan’ is an upcoming Malayalam language drama movie that revolves around a senior citizen man names Kesu who manages a car driving school called Keshu Driving School. The film features Dileep, Urvashi, and Jaffer Idukki in the lead roles.
Senapathi (Streaming on Aha Video from 31st December)
Helmed by Pavan Sadineni, the Telugu film is being touted as a spine-chilling crime thriller movie and features proficient performer Rajendra Prasad in his OTT debut. The film’s underlying plot revolves around a loyal and depressed cop who loses his gun to a killer. The movie also features Harshavardhan and Rakendu Mouli, amongst other cast members.
