Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Lust Stories 2’, ‘The Night Manager Part-2’, ‘Afwaah’, and ‘Veeran’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Good Night (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 3rd July)
The romantic comedy movie revolves around the protagonist Manikandan, who suffers from a snoring problem and is not very adept in speaking English. He falls in love with an orphan girl, but can they set aside their differences to make their relationship work?
Ishq Next Door (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 3rd July)
The romantic comedy series follows a regular guy who lives a responsible yet insipid life. Things change after he meets a girl next door, but his simple life gets complicated after that.
Sweet Kaaram Coffee (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 6th July)
The series tells the story of three women belonging to three different generations (played by Lakshmi, Madhoo, and Santhy Balachandran) and the bumpy (mis)adventures that follow after the unlikely trio embarks on a road trip braving the unknown. But during the trip, their lives begin to turn upside down and how they deal with the situation ostensibly forms the show’s underlying premise.
Adhura (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 7th July)
The supernatural horror series takes place in an elite boarding school whose dark past related to a 10-year-old student named Vedant begins to haunt a former student named Adhiraj who has come back for his 2007 batch reunion.
Blind (Streaming on Jio Cinema from 7th July)
The crime thriller movie follows the story of a blind cop (Sonam Kapoor), who attempts to unravel the mystery behind a serial killing case against all odds.
IB 71 (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 7th July)
The spy thriller movie follows a daredevil IB agent Dev (Vidyut Jammwal), who tries to execute a seemingly impossible plan in order to counter an impending attack on the country by the enemy. But the plan does go as smoothly as expected.
Tarla (Streaming on Zee5 from 7th July)
The biopic film is based on India’s immensely popular and first ever home chef and cooking show host Tarla Dalal (played by Huma Qureshi). It also delves into her life as a wife and a mother besides a successful professional cook.
Farhana (Streaming on SonyLIV from 7th July)
Helmed by Nelson Venkatesan, the movie revolves around the female protagonist who works in a call centre which caters to the fantasies of its male customers. But her life takes a drastic turn when her family learns about the nature of her job.
