Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Rocket Boys Season-2’, ‘Kuttey’, and ‘Vaathi’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week which might prove to be a triple delight for Indian OTT audiences.
Hunter (Streaming on Amazon miniTV from 22nd March)
The eight-part action thriller web series features Sunil Shetty in the role of ACP Vikram, who takes up a mission to track a missing girl amidst the backdrop of the dark alleys of Mumbai.
Pathaan (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 22nd March – TBA)
Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the movie is about a daredevil RAW agent Pathaan (Shah Rukh Khan), who teams up with a mysterious rival agent (Deepika Padukone) to stop a former agent and terrorist Jim (John Abraham) from executing a brutal attack on the country. The film also has a wonderful cameo by Salman Khan as Tiger.
Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha (Streaming on Aha Video from 22nd March)
The romantic action-drama movie revolves around a good-hearted librarian named Vishnu (Kiran Abbavaram), who lives in Tirupati. He falls in love with his phone number neighbour friend Darshana (Kashmira Paradesi), a YouTuber. But the story takes a turn when Darshana gets close to another phone number neighbour.
Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga (Streaming on Netflix from 24th March)
The crime thriller movie follows the story of a flight attendant (Yami Gautam), who plans to execute a diamond heist with a friend’s help inside a plane, to get rid of a debt. But their plan goes awry when the plane gets hijacked.
De Dhakka 2 (Streaming on Zee5 from 24th March)
In the Marathi language sequel to the popular comedy film ‘De Dhakka’, business magnate Makarand gets invited to London to be honoured by the UK PM. His family also accompanies him, leading to an interesting turn of events.
Kanjoos Makhichoos (Streaming on Zee5 from 24th March)
The dark comedy film follows a Lucknow-based miser Jamnaprasad (Kunal Kemmu), who has saved money to fulfil his parents’ wish to send them on a pilgrimage trip. But his parents go missing in floods and the protagonist must deal with corruption to fight for his rights.
Poovan (Streaming on Zee5 from 24th March)
The Malayalam comedy drama film is about a man named Hari, who suffers from sleeplessness and how the arrival of a rooster turns his life around.
Purusha Pretham (Streaming on SonyLIV from 24th March)
The crime comedy movie revolves around a popular and reliable sub-inspector Sebastian and the story moves forward after an unknown person’s dead body vanishes without a trace.
