Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Regina’, ‘Kaalkoot’, ‘Maamannan’, and ‘Appatha’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week.
Erumbu (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 31st July)
The family drama movie revolves around how a young boy named Muthu loses a one-gram ring and must find it with his sister and a friend’s help before his family comes back to the house.
Dayaa (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 4th August)
The crime thriller series features ‘Satya’ actor J.D. Chakravarthy in the titular role of a freezer van driver Dayaa, who is burdened with a dark and mysterious past. The protagonist’s life takes a drastic turn after he discovers a woman’s body in his van.
The Hunt for Veerappan (Streaming on Netflix from 4th August)
The documentary series follows the story of a feared and ruthless smuggler Veerappan, who rules the dense jungles located in South India and how he became the focal point of India’s longest manhunt.
Fatafati (Streaming on SonyLIV from 4th August)
The Bengali comedy drama movie follows the story of a gifted tailor named Phullora (played by Ritabhori Chakraborty), who is made fun of because of her weight. Can she overcome the adversities and become a successful fashion influencer?
Rangabali (Streaming on Netflix from 4th August)
The romantic drama movie is about a happy-go-lucky and carefree man (Naga Shaurya), whose father sends him to Vizag for further studies against his son’s wishes. After reaching there, he falls in love with a doctor, whose father objects to their relationship.
