Last week was marked with the arrival of some exciting Indian OTT titles including several films and web series such as ‘Jehanabad Of Love & War’, ‘Class’, and ‘Roktokorobi’, to name a few.
Likewise, the current week too has some eagerly anticipated OTT titles coming up. For this article, we have compiled a list of the top Indian titles streaming on OTT platforms this week which might prove to be a triple delight for Indian OTT audiences.
Thunivu (Streaming on Netflix from 8th February)
Helmed by H. Vinoth, the heist thriller movie follows a gang who hatch a plan to rob a bank. But they are shocked on learning that a mystery man (Ajith Kumar) with some unknown agenda is already present in the bank. Who is the mystery person, what are his intentions and how he gets what he wants, forms the film’s underlying plot.
Farzi (Streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 10th February)
Set against the backdrop of counterfeit currency business, the series features Shahid Kapoor as a small-time artist who uses his unique skills to design a con job using his grandfather’s printing press. But soon after, he is pursued by a relentless cop who is hellbent on putting an end to the high stakes con game.
Salaam Venky (Streaming on Zee5 from 10th February)
Helmed by Ravathi and based on real life story, the film features Kajol in the role of a doting mother of a young boy, who suffers from a rare and fatal disorder. The film is about their struggle about the legal fight for euthanasia and the boy’s wish to donate his organs before it’s too late.
Dhuin (Streaming on Mubi from 10th February)
Achal Mishra’s critically acclaimed 50-minute Maithili drama follows a small-town theatre artist Pankaj (Abhinav Jha), who must make a wise decision considering his financially struggling family against his own aspirations of succeeding in Mumbai.
Vedha (Streaming on Zee5 from 10th February)
The Kannada language action movie features Shiva Rajkumar in the role of a dreaded vigilante named Vedha, who, along with his daughter Kanaka (Aditi Sagar), are on a revenge fuelled killing rampage from village to village. On the duo’s trail is an incessant cop who is hellbent on catching them.
Hansika’s Love Shaadi Drama (Streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from 10th February)
The show will give us a sneak-peek glimpse into Hansika Motwani’s (of ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ fame) opulent and good-looking wedding with Sohael Kathuriya at the Mandota Fort located in Jaipur.
Nijam With Smita (Streaming on SonyLIV fom 10th February)
The Telugu talk show hosted by Smita Valluripalli will see the playback singer discussing a variety of thought-provoking topics with her guests from different fields. The guest list includes some big name like Chandra Babu Naidu, Chiranjeevi, Nani, Rana Daggubati, Pullela Gopichand, and Sai Pallavi, amongst others.
Gobhir Joler Maach (Streaming on Hoichoi from 10th February)
The Bengali series revolves around the seemingly happy lives of four women, but they all have some dark secrets. They decide to test their husbands’ loyalty by playing a game of seduction.
